Having slept only about three hours in the last two days I was unusually full of energy and ready to check out the characters of the night life. KhaoSan Road is definitely a party street full of drunken foreigners, street food, and night soliciters. It's amazing how you can be across the world and still hear American music playing at all the clubs. After realizing that Cuba libres packed little to no minerals from the bartenders I switched to the local beer. I managed to bump into some croatians and spent a good deal of time talking about Gradac and Dalmatia. I managed to escape KhaoSan Road before getting into any trouble and fall fast asleep at the hotel.
Now I find myself on a bus headed to Chanthaburi to visit my friend who's been living here 5 years.
